So, Iv installed a Pioneer AVH-X2500BT. I used an AXXESS CHTO-03, and the associated Steering wheel control box. The install whent well, it looks great, and functions great. how ever....

If I turn up the volume I get 2 things. A.... LOT of distortion. I imagine this comes from the input adjustment on the AXXESS control box? and B.... the base seems to be coming threw the door speakers, and the sub seems to be only outputting a small bit of sound. I imagine this too is from the amp output adjustment on the AXXESS control box.

Is there, a quick tip as how to maximize the system using these adjustments?

Make sure your 'loud' setting is turned off on your head unit, it causes nothing but distortion

adjusting the axxess piece and the normal eq settings on your deck are rally your only option.

the sub control on the deck will NOT control the sub . the factory sub is set off the input to the factory amp. the biggest problem to the factory amp is you cant adjust them. manufacturers make then to "sound" good with the factory equipment. once you start to change things the sound and response changes a lot.

the 9spkr alpine stereo is a BIG sales gimmick. IMO they suck. i had it in my '11 durango and when i purchased my ram i said hell no to it. you would be better off bypassing it all together

That is an option, and one Iv looked into. When I get some $$$ Ill be going with a dual 10" underseat box, proper amp, and wiring.
