I see a lot of how to videos etc on how to properly plasti dip rims. I'm looking for someone that did it that could tell me how well it held up. I live in Michigan so winters with salt on the roads etc.. just wondering if it will hold up for awhile?
Thanks

Mine has held up for years, I doubt I can get it off at this point. Maybe 6-7 years, no scraping off, still looks like I have black rims. The issue was brake dust, it is like rusty red black now, lol. New rims coming with Trump check number 2.

I did my wheels. I have to do them every year only because I tape out the alloy centers and clear over everything but the clear seems to wear off and they start to peel. I did my grille and it has been on for a few years without a problem. PA winters and we get our fair share of salt. 7d97e61f13b60c3adbbdc43f6f82013f.jpg

I got 2 years out of mine. Threw some clearcoat after I plasti dipped. These were the factory 17 inch rims. One of them started to peel near the tire and they all look dull now.
