so I was wondering if I end up with a superchips flashpaq, what will I not be getting over the diablo trinity? I know a custom tune wont come with the superchips but like how much hp and tq will I miss out on? I do plan on doing intake, throttle body, header and exhaust along with the tune and use said tuner to set my stock efan temps for the clutch fan delete mod. past that tough I don't see what else I would do in terms of power, but I was wondering if I end up doing all of that about how much more power will the diablo (with custom tune and canned tune) get me over the superchips? im really just wanting to see if the extra 300$ for the diablo will be worth it to me. any info helps and thank you

A custom tune is the only way to go, most others are a waste of money IMO

"The extra $300" is really a small percentage when compared to how much you plan on spending on your other mods.

If I was going to spend all that money I would definitely get a custom tune A custom tune is going to be the best way to tie all those mods together to get them to work together properly. I assume u are deleting the cats? and the 02 sensors? - gonna need that custom tune-

If you are planning to add longtube headers, then you will need custom tuning to turn off the codes that you will likely throw from the high flow/no cats. This means that you need a Diablo.

You also don't have to go with the Trinity. The Diablo i2 tuner is only $489 through Moe's with the custom tune included. It is the exact same tuning that you would get with the Trinity, but without the monitor.

I plan on only doing shorty headers unless there are some long tube ones that still work with cats. emissions check still go on were im from. but I didn't know about the diablo i2 tuner. that seems like something to look into. I didn't want the monitor anyways. its cool just not for me. also quick question about the custom tune. I plan on getting the tuner and doing the clutch fan delete at the same time. but as I go on adding more can I get the custom tune updated?

Superchips tuners can adjust the TM as you want by using the advanced transmission program they have, and shifting is better than diablo canned tunes, its slower on take off than diablo but little better at mid and high range, but for sure HF tunes are much powerful than superchips canned tunes. I have both diablo with HF tune and superchips with advanced transmission program and i tried both on my 4th generation ram ,the advanced trans program is great with a lot of options but HF tune is faster.

The ARH longtubes are offered with high flow cats, and as part of the custom tuning, Hemifever will disable any codes associated with the high flow cats so that your computer always shows "ready" when you go in for your inspection.

And the Hemifever tune does come with free updates, so you simply let them know when you add a new mod, and they will revise your tune at no cost to you.
