Sitting waiting for my wife's son and family, listening to the radio for about 1/2 hour when it just shut off. Had to hit the start button to turn it off, then back to accessory again to get the radio back on. Is there some kind of low power shut-down on this thing? And, 1/2 hour of listening to the radio shouldn't pull enough juice for the system to even notice.

Just a timer. IIRC, the time frame is adjustable through Uconnect, but I wouldn't swear to it. I know some vehicle I had I could set it to 15 or 30 minutes.

Yep there is.

Don't hold me to this but I swear I've seen an option in uconnect to adjust the duration. Seems like it "might" have went up to 45 minutes. Again... I could be mistaken.

If the ignition is in the accessory or run position, it will automatically shut off after 30 minutes. There’s no way to change that. When the ignition is in one of those positions, all of the modules on the bus are awake, and that alone is a 6 amp current draw, let alone having music playing, depending at what volume.

Is there anything in the manual that states that? I can't find anything in the Uconnect relating to it.

I don't have a 'Keyless Enter and Go' option on mine. Manual windows, manual door locks, push-button start. That's it.
All Ram trucks that have a push button to start the truck will automatically turn the ignition to off if it has been in the accessory or run position for more than 30 minutes.
It doesn’t matter how you interpret the owner’s manual wording, that is the way a push button start Ram truck is programmed to work.

OK, but I just spent 15 minutes looking through my manual in the same section you showed in yours and the '30 minute' thing is not there.

Don’t know. The owners manual isn’t going to tell you every little thing about its programmed electrical behaviors. There’s a ton more information about load shedding in the service manual.
You were wondering why the ignition switched to off after 30 minutes of listening to the radio, and I’m telling you the absolute reason why. I’m not guessing about it.

OK, how to override it? No way the radio or anything else is pulling enough amps to make a dent in that battery even with every light on and the radio running full blast for an hour or more. I used to go hunting and put my portable TV up on the dash and watch a couple hours of boob tube before bed with no ill effects.

There’s no way to change that behavior at all.

WHAT Jimmy07 said, post #8. They will shut down after 30 minutes, pasting what I found in 2023 manual. The keyless entry addendum, still applies to your truck.

NOTE: (FROM 2023 manual, page 121/2).
For Keyless Enter ‘n Go™ equipped vehicles, the engine
will turn off and the ignition switch will change to ACC
position. After 30 minutes the ignition switches to OFF
automatically, unless the driver turns the ACC SWITCH TO
off.

KEYLESS ENTER ‘N GO™ — IGNITION
This feature allows the driver to operate the ignition switch
with the push of a button, as long as the Remote Start/
Keyless Enter ‘n Go™ key fob is in the passenger
compartment

THE PUSH TO START: """is the keyless enter and go system"""..

That only references the 30-minute thing IF you turn the engine off without first putting it in Park. See my above Post #12.

THERE IS the separate power available when you shut off your truck, but this is set in U Connect, nothing to do with you putting ignition in ACC mode:

Key Off Options/Engine Off Options
Suspension/Air Suspension
When the Key Off Options/Engine Off Options button is pressed on the touchscreen, the system displays the options related to vehicle shutoff. These settings will only activate when
the ignition is set to OFF.
NOTE:
Depending on the vehicle’s options, feature settings may vary.
Setting Name Description
Easy Exit Seat This setting adjusts the seats to make exiting the vehicle easier.
Key Off Power Delay/Engine Off Power Delay
This setting will keep certain electrical features running after the engine is turned off.
When any door is opened, the electronics will deactivate. The available settings are “0
sec”, “45 sec”, “5 min”, and “10 min”.
Headlight Off Delay
This setting will allow you to set the amount of time the headlights remain on after the
vehicle has been turned off. The “+” will increase the amount of time. The “-” will
decrease the amount of time.

The note is attached to the auto park behavior description, but it is only saying that because that’s what happens in ANY event, not only because auto park happened.

You are reading too much into what is printed: You are debating 2 diff things. The auto park option is a safety system and automatic if those conditions are met..

You putting/pushing the Ignition button to ACC is a separate function. And it will still time out at 30 minutes, timer system wired into circuit/TIPM.
Just make sure you know, when sitting there in ACC position on ignition, you are pulling a lot more juice than just the radio, you have other modules engaged, awaiting a command from TIPM: whether to active, start truck, etc, all those other modules are active. These electronic beasts pull more than enough juice out of these batteries. BUT, your ride, DO what makes YOU happy. Hope you carry a lil jump box with you as a backup if you plan on sitting around with ACC engaged, these trucks are not your Dad's 66 Chevy, LOL. (I have ACC on my Motorcycle also, and I NEVA go more than a few minutes with engaged, to say having radio on. The only diff is, my MC is an 2006 base bike, not got a lot of other stuff running, like these overwhelming computer controlled behemoths we drive).

All above IMHO.
