Thanks. Still trying to get used to the Methods. They are kind of boring compared to my Fuel Blitz DDT's. I jsut didn't think the blitz's in the 18s with the positive offset would have looked as nice. Less dished.
I think it'll grow on you. you keeping the running boards?

yeah I ordered it that way. I really don't need rock sliders and I've seen too many issues with power boards up here in the ice and snow. The stock boards are pretty cheap for aluminum boards and they hold up quite well.

"The power wagons come with load range D from the factory. Unless you are towing crazy heavy they should be up to the task. I really like that size tire (35x10.5) but it is as rare as chicken lips."

I agree... with the narrower tread. I'd like to see even more narrow than that in order to get down to the harder ground in snow or mud. That width would probably have to be a bias ply and not radial tire.
Pretty sure my ‘24 had E from the factory.

That would be interesting to know for sure. The Ram website states they are still a D rated tire, and a couple of other sources say they should be D. But it wouldn't surprise me too much if some came from the factory with E rated tires because of a shortage or something.

Any of you PW owners have any firsthand experience with the new Falken Wildpeak AT4's? Coming up on 70K miles on my Toyo CT's and starting to shop around...

I looked at those first when I needed new tires a few months back, but they weren't available. I ended up getting the Falken Wildpeak R/T - sort of a bridge between the A/T and the M/T. After several months I can say they are worth considering for your next tire if you enjoy going off the beaten path :favorites13:

I had the 35x12/17 at3w’s and they were great. Took em off at over 60k miles and sold them because they were still in pretty decent shape. Great winter all terrain imo.

I love my AT3s, and understand if I did more off-roading, the AT4s would perform better. But I am mostly highway, and the AT3s out perform the AT4s on the road. (From the research I did.)

Nice, thanks for the feedback! The R/T's are definitely on the list of considerations...

Yup, the AT3's look to be slightly better in wet conditions vs the AT4's, but something about buying a new set of tires that are essentially being "phased out" by Falken has me hesitant to buy... I always opt for the road hazard coverage and would hate to have the need of replacing one and not having it available...

Awesome, thanks! AT3's are solid for sure.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the AT4's. I'm stepping up to 37's and if Toyo made the CT's in 37's, Id buy them again. They were THAT good of a tire. Falken has been making solid tires for a while now and the AT4's look like they should fit the bill for me given I'm constantly on gravel roads, dirt roads that turn muddy with rain, and on snowy paved roads during the winters.

(note tire also marked on sidewall as 35x12.5)
Falken Rubitrek
121/D rating
55psi front, 50psi rear
Stock 17x8 rims

Some minor rubbing EDIT: loose plastic panel was rubbing. Fixed.

Spare about 1/2” too easily fit under bed. These come in about 34.6” dia. I deflated to about 30psi, bent exhaust sheild a bit and wedged it in between hitch and frame pretty good.

Some minor rubbing, hard to nail down. Seems to be in reverse at lock with some flex on suspension.

About the only thing the 35’s rub on with factory wheels is the sway bar and radius arm. Barely kiss em at full lock. Theres really nothing else to contact. How is the snow performance?

The Rubitrek seem better than the Duratracs but snow conditions on this trail were quite different after thaw/freeze we had so not a good direct comparison. The wider tire seemed to make a difference on looser “corn snow” that bogged down the 285/70 Duratrac. The tread is 20/32” deep!

Immediately noticed they were quieter and more comfortable.

Rubbing was a loose plastic panel in front fender that was sticking out an inch. Fixed.

FWIW-
My Powerwagon has 32K on the Kenda Klever RTs and I think they are still about 50%...
We just got back from a long road trip to Arizona and looked them over good before leaving.
My brother was amazed when I told him how many miles were on them...
As far as road noise- I can't hear them over my exhaust so I really can't say...

I recently installed a set of Continental Terrain Contact A/T.

315/70/17 E Rated
Running 45psi front, 40psi rear
Stock 17" 75th Anniversary wheels

Not the most aggressive tread, but I think they would do great for anything besides rock crawling. Wet traction has been great so far. Snow traction has been good for an A/T, ice is decent. Dead silent on the highway. I didn't see many people running these but I took and chance and I've been pretty happy so far. Will see how they do towing compared to the duratracs this summer.

For those that went to 295 70 17's, did our truck still fit in standard height garage?
