I'm a new guy reading all these forums to prep me for my 3g Ram purchase.
So forgive the noob nature.

Has anyone tried using a potentiometer run to the cab?
If paired with a handheld tuner with the ability to see what Air temp the IAT is sensing. One could essentially tune it better and more accurately for their density altitude?

probably would work, to a degree . but one would be daft to set the resistance to where a fault may occur. I for one have no idea what that would be. As for altitude and air density....I'm not sure this is the sensor for that. If not mistaken most vehicles are set for perameters within a set altitude give or take a few thousand feet. The air is cooler the higher you go.
