I bought a set of used LED tail lights from a guy. He had them on his 07 Ram, and mine is an 08, so they should be compatible. When I went to install them, the plugs fit, but my stock reverse bulbs didn't. My stock reverse bulb is a 921, and the harness looks like a 3157? I'm guessing these tail lights are for an 06? Am I going to be fine buying a 3157 LED bulb and plugging it in?

Thanks guys

I thought the 3157 bulb was for turn signals and brake lights and the reverse lights would be the 3156 bulb. Any way if that is the type of connection you have for the reverse bulb one of them will work, however the LED bulbs are usually polarized so if you put the bulb in and it doesn't work you will need to pull it out and turn it 180 degrees and put it back in and it should work. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure. All I know is my 08 has 921s for reverse bulbs. I looked up an 06 (the what the box said on it) and it says it has 3157s for reverse bulbs. I'm going to order some LEDs, but it asks if my truck has 3157k, or 3157sck bulbs. Anyone know?
