I can't speak to that exact one, but historically mass built boxes are garbage, and that plexi cover over the sub raises a lot of red flags. You want air to move in front of the sub which is why generally sub protection is with screens not plexi. Also, the back of it looks terribly designed for sub box. If it remains open, its a horribly inefficient way to "port" the box, and if its designed with a cover to seal the box, it will NOT be truly sealed which defeats the purpose. I suspect based on the pictures, that the sound quality on this box will be bad. But if anyone with actual experience with this exact box can contradict...by all means.

The sub is simply reverse mounted and will function like a normal ported/vented box. However, the sound will fire down into the factory "tubs" and out through the vent. I actually like the idea of down fire, and since the subs are reverse mounted, the displacement of the backside of sub(s) does not take up internal volume of the enclosure and should aid in voice coil cooling. I have zero experience with this enclosure tho
