Its truly not that tough, after you get the lights open. The 02-05s are the easiest that I've come across (except one aftermarket set that took me 3 heat cycles to open.......damn glue!). The 4th gens are by far the hardest to open. I'm looking to do a set for a friend, he's got a 2010 Jetta, but I've read that you have to CUT the lens off. Oh hell no.
