Hello Ramily,
I was washing my Rebel today, because I have an illness and like it to be clean.
But anyway, while wiping it down I rubbed on a fender flair and it rattled. So I then used my hand and lightly shook the offending flair, which made it rattle more. I then noticed a few of the screws move as I did so.
I cursed once, then promptly retrieved an 8mm wrench from my tool box. To my amazement, more than half of the screws were so loose, some took 3 turns to snug.
I then checked the rest of the fenders, and found more than half of the screws were loose. Some to the point I could see a little light between the screws head and the washer.
Again, it’s an 8mm head on the screws. And don’t over tighten, as they are only embedded in plastic and thin sheet metal. But check your fender flair screws so you don’t loose one while driving. Or worse have one come loose and damage the paint from the wind pushing it around.
Now that I avoided a possible tragedy it is time for a beer and a cigar
