Puddle lights

I am looking for a kit to make my puddle lights operate as running lights, but still have full use of the amber turn signals. The only kit I’ve seen makes the amber lights run with running lights. Anyone know where I can find a kit to do this? I have sport mirrors if that makes a difference.

Your talking about 2 separate things here. The puddle lights are the small LEDs that come on when you unlock the doors or open the doors. The turn signals/runnin lights in the second portion are different.
There's a thread on here to mod the mirror turn signal adding the running lights to them. Its pretty simple. I don't have a link but I think it's in the DIY section

Does your truck have the ambient backlights for the interior door handles?

On the C1 connector on the door modules (bottom left white connector) remove the wire from pin 1-

Take that wire and tap it into the pin 3 wire on the blue C5 door module connector-

This will make your approach lamps act the way they normally do, and come on as running lights.

Take that wire and tap it into the pin 3 wire on the blue C5 door module connector-

This will make your approach lamps act the way they normally do, and come on as running lights.

Check that. Potential bulb out fault. Cut the C1 pin 1 wire and bring the mirror side of the wire over to C5 pin 3. Add 1k ohm 1/2 watt resistor from C1 pin 1 connector side of the wire to C1 pin 2 wire.

OR- add a jumper wire with two 1n4007 diodes.

Jimmy, this signal is running lights? I mean it come on with the truck running in drive?

I am looking for this signal for my DRL led lights that I add to the bumper.

That signal is a courtesy/door handle backlight. It comes on when the doors are unlocked, when the doors are opened, and whenever the parking lights or headlights are on.
