I just bought a new camper and part of the deal was to trade in my 24' Coachmen. I had a tax appointment today so I made arrangements to have the dealer come get my camper. The dealer showed up at 8AM with a GMC Diesel CC 4x4. We hooked up my camper which was on my lawn in an area I snow blowed to ensure he could get it. After 15 minutes of spinning all four tires and splattering mud and dirt on the front Of my camper I said hey I can hook my tow strap up to your truck and pull you out with my Dodge. He said ok, so I hooked the strap up and pulled that GMC and my camper in tandem up onto my drive way, lol. The tires on the camper were only 3" into the lawn. I couldn't believe that heavy 1 ton with a diesel couldn't pull the camper.

Not sure what this might prove. So many variables at work here. His tires, the ground he was on vs. the ground you were on, your added traction and torque helping to pull the trailer out, (not like he was sitting in neutral when you pulled I'm sure)...

Not knocking your truck or defending the GMC, but it might be that you would have had no better luck pulling the trailer out solo.

Yeah. Props to you for pulling the guy out. But in sure him being in the soggy grassy and the heavy truck and trailer combo didn't help things either.

I agree it don't sound right, but it happened. The lawn wasn't soggy I just wish I would've took a video. I guess you had to be there. I'm happy with the new KZ Spree 328 IK at any rate.

Congratulations on your new purchase in any case.

One day I'll be rich instead of just famous and will be able to afford all the toys I want...lol

My 3500 CC SWR Cummings sucks on soft grass areas, I had to have my son pull me and the fiver off our lawn with his 2007 2500 Duramax.

It is all in the tires, they make a significant difference. My 3500 has all seasons on it, that is how I ordered it. I've sense learned how to back the fifer up the drive way to its resting spot, about a 300 foot run and avoid turning around on the grass.
