Have a 2015 Laramie longhorn radio goes intermittent. Sometimes plays for 5 seconds sometimes just on and then off.
The screen continues to work. I can change stations. It will answer phone. But no sound comes out?

You might want to repost this in the 4th Generation audio/electronics, moderators might move it for you, probably get suggestions sooner.
Also check the search function here, you might find your answer there, or at least a good place to start.
I have a 2015, a Express, so you probably have a better radio than mine, my radio turns off completely/ resets about every 45 seconds now, at first it was just every couple of weeks.
That your only losing sound I would pull the radio out, not completely but enough to make sure all the connections are tight, seems like most of the radio issues are more like mine, maybe you’ll get lucky and it will be a easy fix.
There are some extremely knowledgeable and helpful members here that can help you much better than me, probably have solved this issue for other people already, that’s the reason to search here and I would add any other information you can like the exact model of radio you have.
Good luck!

Can you use the serius function? If that works OK and you can play CDs it is probably an antennae problem. They are famous for that. Bad solder joint.

Ok guys finally got to the bottom of this problem. Like I said had 12 volts everywhere I was supposed to and good grounds.
I pulled the fuse panel out under hood.
There were a couple spade terminals looking a little green cleaned them up.
Then looked at back of the large blue connector 7287-8886-90 there were a couple wires looked a little green on back side.
I released the tabs and as I pulled the wire to release pin. The wire came off in hand.
2 wires did this one for Radio one for seat.
Seems even though I had 12 volts the wires were only connected but a strand so 22 volts but could not carry the load. Found a couple connectors in some old harness close enough. Replaced and life is good. Hope this helps someone out in the future
Cheers
