RAM 8 Speed Swap Questions

Hi everyone!

So, i was planning on swapping an 8 sp into my truck, but the listing ended before i could buy the trans.

So, i have sourced out a few parts - and i need y’all’s help on what else i need to buy.

I have the trans already sourced but not purchased yet.

What i’m going to need (from my understanding) is:

• Transmission Wiring Harness
• Transmission
• HEMI ECU Reprogrammed for the 4.7
• Dial Shifter
• Dial Shifter wiring

Is this all?

You might be better off asking these questions on the facebook Ram pages,i'm not sure if anybody on here has done the 8 speed swap.Try High Performance Rams and Tuned Rams,as i think there's been one or 2 guys who've done the swap on them.Another good outfit to track down and talk to is Hell Raiser Transmissions,as they've done the 8 speed swap into an older 5/6 speed truck

It's sure tempting,lol.I'm getting tired of looking at my outdoor thermometers these last few days,and seeing them off the bottom of the scale.Momma Nature needs to get back on her meds,she's being a little hard to live with lately,lol.
