Came with NAV from factory, so I'm guessing RA4.

If thats the case, you can get 17.43.01 here: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/info-2013-2018-8-4an-fw-notes-ra4-vp4-na-uax.73871/ and follow the posts/instructions to get it installed. Be sure to get the correct one for your model year, they were model year specific back then.

Once that is done, go here to get 18.45.01: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/ro...sw-update-13-17-ra3-vp3-na-ra4-vp4-na.150150/ This update is not model year specific, so you just need the correct one based on your radio type (assuming you have RA4, just grab the RA4 version)

It might not hurt to try 18.45.01 first, I have heard of people successfully going from 16.x to 18.45.01. I dont think there is any harm, it looks like the installer just wont start the update if it doesnt think you can get to 18.45.01 from your original verison.

I had gotten the 24hour update warning today. Let it run, it did it’s thing went to 100%, but I still get the warning. dealer told me to disconnect the battery & let it sit for 20 minutes & the warning should go away.... I’m not home yet so we shall see

Guess what I got in the mail yesterday from uconnect. Yep, I'll be updating my uconnect tomorrow.

I just got the update on a whittled down thumb drive in the mail a day ago, not requested by me either. Now that's the way to handle an upgrade, wait until 5 weeks after your nav ***** the bed and then upgrade it....

Not to mention, nowhere in the package did the give the rev # of the upgrade so if it was already installed from the mothership you would be wasting your time trying to install it.

Way to go FCA.....
