Anyone have any experience or knowledge between these 2 shocks? Any preferences between the 2?

I wouldn't use either personally. They both look like generic white body shocks. I only use the Fox 2.0 on my trucks and '14 Wrangler. They're worth the extra money IMO. They're $127 a piece on autoanything. I'm sure you could find them cheaper

Technically, they are one in the same. Both Rancho and ProComp are manufactured on the same line by Tenneco Automotive. This same manufacturer also builds for Ford MoCo and Monroe.

The only obvious differences would be valving and/or adjustability.

Before this turns into a heated debate, let me add that I refer to them being one in the same as their manufacturing process is identical. In terms of one being better than the other, you can't really say for certain as they are manufactured to the same standards with the same process in place, from the same materials.

roger that. i was looking to save a little cash since these will be for the rear, most likely i will go with the bilstein 5100 monotube.

not too familiar when it comes to shocks, but from research everyone recommends monotube over twin tube

I would go with Bilstein's that way you have similar valving on the front and rear of the truck. Im not a suspension guru, but that would make sense to me.

I'd have to go with the same just so my OCD wouldn't flare up every time I drove the truck... but your theory makes perfect sense to me too...
