K guys, got a question as many of you have been doing mods and such on the interiors or your Rams. Some interior packages come with rear heat, ac, and power receptacle on the rear of the front seat console. My Big Horn doesn't have this package but my question, is the harness wired for the receptacle (battery power) so that an oem receptacle can be plugged and play? Suspect it is but not sure. Thanks

Well, got and confirmed the answer to the console wiring harness. Called the parts dept. at the dealer yesterday. He looked up the harness and No, there are probably close to 50 harnesses listed. If your truck doesn't have the option, the harness "for the option" is probably not there. Well, having heard that and being a nice day outside for a look, removed the lower console tray and looked underneath . NONE. lol Did also look in the under hood electrical box and found two unused terminals that are key off battery powered. F2 and F4. No amps listed but are heavy terminals. Talking to service advisor, he thought at least 25/30 amps. Terminals are definitely heavy enough for at least that amp. Only looking to add 15 or 20 amp circuit, whatever receptacle is rated, so think I should be safe.

Hmmm... I was going to say, mine has a 12v plug in back there to charge phones and such. I would've guessed the wiring would be there, whether the plug was or not.

Yep. I sure would have thought they would just have made a few different harnesses that could be plug and play with the different options available. All I can say is, "Don't short out your harness" Could be a major replacement problem.

My 2012 Express has a plug under the seat for the harness to plug into. The harness I ordered to mate to that one is 68050748AA. The center connector with the red retainer is the plug I needed to plug into the connector under my driver seat. the harness part # I listed only has this connector. The pin out I included has some additional notes in green letters this is notes I added so I know what I used each circuit for when I wired my truck so you can just ignore that . I do not know if this is the same for your truck but if you use the wiring diagrams on the techauthority site you could see if it is the same as yours. Connector is C341

Picture of harness and plugs. The Y in the harness is there because 1 end feeds the 12v power port in the center jump seat lid and the other goes to rear seat power port.
