Looking for a compliment to the bilsteins up front. 36K miles on the factory shocks. I don't haul much at all but we will be trying to TT vacations in the future. I have 1.5" spacers on the rear to finish off the level look, if that plays into the suggestions.

I'm not looking for gold plated options, meaning I'm a cheap/frugal/thrifty SOB. TIA

Is there some reason to not get matching Bilsteins?

You have the 5100's up front already so why not match the rear shocks with Bilstein 5100's ? part# 24-187374

I had bilsteins on both ends on my 2014 and the rear 5100s are standing in the garage for about 2 years with about a thousand miles on them . They were to stiff for a normally empty short bed reg cab . I would try Fox. I replaced the Bilstein with a Rancho 5000X which many people with Jeeps were really impressed with as was I for a cheap shock so I figured it was worth a shot. They were no different than the Bilsteins. I tried Fox 2.0 on a Tacoma I was playing with and really liked them on that truck .

We recommend the Fox rear shocks. They will ride better than the bills and are good for up to 2" of lift. Message me for a quote if interested.

What if you have the front set to 2.8? will the fox shocks still work?

I have a set of longer B6 4600s that might be up your alley. I need to grab the part number, they’re 1.5” longer than the 24-187510 I’m using.

Want to say it ends in 375 or 350.

Yes, the front shouldn't really effect the rear much. It's more about how much actual rear lift you have.

I know Bilstein has a pretty good following on this forum but I know on another its common to read with Bilsteins you can not only feel a dime when you run over it but you can tell if its heads or tails. I don't care for them on our IFS trucks or Jeeps and I have tried Twice on Rams and no more . Compared to Fox they are cheaper which may be one reason ya see them so much but when I eventually gave in to Fox I understood why they cost more and they are worth it .
