Receiver hitch adapter sleeve

Just took delivery of a 2022 RAM 2500 limited and noticed it didn't come with a receiver adapter sleeve and pin to reduce from 2.5" to 2". Does anyone know if the reducer sleeve is supposed to be included with the new trucks? One was included with my 2016 2500 RAM.

Yeah,it should have. Every HD I have sold this year had the sleeve. I would contact your salesman and inquire. They should make this right.

Mine was wrapped up with plastic and underneath the rear seat. Mine did not come with a pin.

Mine was located under the drivers side rear seat storage. Just the reducer, no pin.

Did you look in the rear bins? That's where mine was.

Mine was also under the seat....no pin as well.

2021 3500 Mine was under the rear seat. Reducer but no Pin.

The reducer for mine was in the very bottom of the center console. Didn't know it was there until after I bought another one.....no pin though.

Reminds me of mt BIL, in later life he bought a 2008 1500 club cab and had it for 6 months before I showed him where I keep my tools, he did not know about the bins, mind you he never read a manual in his life.

Thanks for all the replies. it was not under the back seat and the dealer agreed give me a new one. However, after re-reading the answer about the "rear bin," I opened the storage compartment under the back floor mat, and there it was, with no pin.

Under back seat as well. I drilled a hole and tapped a thread, installed a set screw to keep it in there without a pin, works great!

Great post!! Just picked up a 2500 mega cab and was looking for this. Found it in the storage behind the passenger seat on the driver side.

Up here in Minnesota you don't need a set screw. Leave it in long enough and it will be rust welded in place!
