Ive been running a bottle a tank about every 5000 miles. I usually fill with premium when I use the cleaner. Just added a bottle to my last tank. It’s a higher concentration of cleaner vs other fuel system cleaners.

Corey had a set back with his test, as in the second results were worse then the first when it appeared the si-1 was really cleaning. So he is taking a break and will continue early this year. I have posted many vids on it, but I am waiting til he does a thread on it. That is the long way to say the results aren't "good" yet, but "we" are giving it a chance. Google si-1 and see the youtubes on it, and thanks to Corey for driving this discussion. I'm sure if the results end up not good he will report that, but he is giving the product a real chance. Think about how hard it is to make a product like this, something you add at a treat rate of 16/3200 and expect it to clean. That would be one bottle of si-1 added to 25 gallons of gas. So it is not surprising that this is not a magic bullet, for that use sea foam through vac lines. The downside to that is sea foam really doesn't clean injectors, but the results for Ram Forum tests have not validated the youtubes at this point, but the youtubes still exist and are stellar. More testing needed.

I use the hell out of it, maybe I need a boroscope!

If you're looking at bore scopes Burla, make sure you get one at least 8.5mm or smaller, any bigger and they won't fit through the plug holes.I just did my yearly bore scope / compression test and new plugs on mine, lol.

I'm do for my tune up this summer, I will consider getting a boro before I do that, just see what my pistons look like, and the ram gets 100% costco gas, which I'm sure isn't top shelf although it does have top tier rating. I need to make the the boro works with chromebook.

Autel builds a fairly cheap bore scope with a 5mm head that works pretty decent. It's by no stretch the best, but it's relatively affordable and does the job for most home based mechanics, plus it has it's own screen for real time viewing

I just did the Seafoam treatment through the vacuum line on mine yesterday AND dumped a bottle of the sl-1 in my tank. We shall see what happens. I’ve been a huge fan of seafoam in the vacuum line for many years. So I decided this time to add treatment to my tank too.

Does the seafoam go right into the throttle body? inhabe sure the gas seafoam and liked it. I went back to Lucus though as they both good, however Lucus gives me a longer use than Seafoam.

I used a bottle last year before an oil change. I have another ready to go in my tank before my next oil change that's coming up in about 1000 more miles. Not sure how well it works or how often to use it, but I was planning on using a bottle before each oil change. I change my oil every 6000 miles so .
