remote battery life

is anyone familiar with the expected life span of the key fob batteries?

I'm up to two years and just over 24K miles and mine still works well so for at least that long.

You'll probably pull the key fob apart and clean it before you need batteries. You would be surprised how much crude can get inside the remote.
Granted I don't drive the truck everyday but the battery in my remote is 4 years old.
