I want to put remote start in my '17 1500 quad cab. I have the hood latch and Mopar 68065018AA. Unfortunately, my truck does not have the wires going from the connector under the battery fuse box to the BCM. Would anyone have the part number for that cable? Also, I don't have the correct pins/sockets for the block under the fuse box. Any help would be awesome. It's getting cold out and I would really like to get this working soon.

NVM. I think I figured it out. The 68065018AA kit has 2 white and two blue wires with different pins. I think the white wires go to the hood latch and the blue wires go to the BCM. I just have to splice a wire between them and bypass the connector under the fuse box.

Correct, but I believe the hood latch must still get to ground somehow or the circuit won't be completed.

Well, the connectors on the blue wires from the kit do not fit the BCM connector. They are way too large. So, would anyone have a part number for the cable from the hood latch to the BCM or a part number for the correct BCM connector pins? I've tried looking at pics of the OEM kit, but can't find a clear image of the part number on the cable it comes with.

This is the PIN for the BCM...

This thread is a long read, but has everything you need in it to get this mod done.

and you dont "need" the hood latch

grab one of those pins mentioned above, put a 500 ohm resistor in it and ground it and the PCM will believe there is a hood latch, and it is closed

Thanks for the part number. I'm ordering a few now. I already have the hood latch. The only thing stopping progress is that pin. I have the wire through the firewall and ready to go.
