Is there anyway of knowing if your RAM started after pressing the remote start button?

On my Ford the remote would have a green led that would light up to let you know the vehicle started or it would flash red if it didn't.

The parking lights will flash and the horn will sound briefly.

To my knowledge, nope.

No, you can't tell like on the Ford. Also, the Ram remote will not transmit as far (my brother-in-law has an F150, we have compared).

Mine does not sound the horn, only the lights come on. My truck is set in settings not to sound the horn when locking or unlocking, that may be why? It's a '17 Big Horn...

If you are not within eyesight or earshot of the truck, you can also use the Uconnect Guard app if you have the 12" or 8.4" screen with Nav, which takes longer but will tell you if the signal to start the truck was successful.

I have a remote start notification system on mine - Flowmaster Outlaw Catback.

me too. no flowmaster but I can hear it start even tho my shop/garage is detached and the door down.
