My bumper was removed due to an accident. Road salt corroded the harness plug that the receptacle plugs in to. I tried several methods (baking soda, dental picks) to clean it out to no avail. Any recommendations on replacing just the plug without an entirely new harness? Or additional cleaning methods? This is the part I’m trying to replace. Seems like I could just get any aftermarket part and use existing wires? IMG_3144.jpeg

I would think that you could buy that connector somewhere., maybe with just a foot of pigtail wires attached. You would need to make sure it has exactly the same slots, though. Somewhere on it there should be a part #, probably on the back where the wires come in.

I'm still looking but so far I found a 5th wheel adapter plug kit that would give you the plug you need. Then you could cut it off and solder the new plug pigtail on. It's an option but comes with a price.
