Hi. New to the forum and hoping to get some advice. I have a 2012 3500 dually and both OEM headlights get condensation inside the housing. I want to replace them and are not set on OEM. A little brighter would be nice as I live in a rural area and drive through rural areas frequently. I see several technologies out there as replacements like LED, HID and xenon and not sure what the best option would be. Any recommendations on technology and brand/model?

I'm open to something beyond just a simple drop-in replacement like changing out wiring harnesses if it's worth the improvement.

Thanks

Bang for the buck, you can't beat the alpharex housings, and imo, the oem projector style housings. They look great, and with some bulb upgrades, they perform really well too. Throw a decent hid kit in for the lows, and a good led in for highs and you'll be golden. A good retrofit with a good projector will perform better, but you'll be spending more time and money. That said, not sure how well hids and leds play with the wiring for the 2012 trucks.

Take look at the entire line from Alpharex for headlights, lots of member have them and are happy with their performance.

The Luxx & Nova version of headlights are built with LEDs if your looking for a plug-n-play not have to mess with different bulb set ups. Be sure to order the projector wiring adapter for your truck if it currently has them.
