I've noticed here for quite a while sometimes when merging onto the interstate, it sounds like the truck is hitting the rev limiter, the truck will actually cut out for a second and kinda buck, then it will downshift and run like a striped *** ape. Is this normal? Sometimes you don't even have to get on it that hard and it will do it.

I do have superchips on it, but have never messed with the WOT or rev limiter. I just have the MDS disabled on it.

I have the SC 3815 so I don't have the trans tuning options, just the WOT

LOL no worries. It's all good.

so I should just start with upping the rev limiter and see if that helps it?

Lol blond moment for the day. Do you have it on performance or stock tuning? The extra juice might help too

It's on 87 tune right now and run 89 in it. I used to run performance tune but haven't for over a year since gas is so high. I can't remember if it did it while on performance or not.

My rev limiters are up and my shift points are changed, and mine still does that at wot from 2nd to 3rd gear.

Just noticed how similar the truck pose is in our sig's Wendy lol

Lol^

And yes, it has always done it. Messed around the the functions and what not, and it still does it. Very quick, but it's there.

Hmm. Maybe i don't get on the highway enough to see if mine does it lol. For the last 4 months I've avoided any highway like the plague. Damn tourists lol.

LOL

yeah, maybe I'll still go ahead and change it just to see if it makes any difference. Glad to read that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I was just worried that it might be harming the motor or tranny or something.
