Hello. I have noticed an issue with my 2014 Ram 1500 which is when I turn slightly to the right while driving, I have a squeak on the right side, I have inspected underneath the right side and have not seen anything out of whack. Has anyone had any similar problems with this.

I have a bird chirp/squeak on what sounds like my driver's side front wheel area. Its not the "angry sparrows" that you read about on other forums, just a cyclic chirp now and then. It used to be very random, a little rare, and soft. Over the past week, its become louder and much more frequent. For me, using the brakes has no effect on it, and from my research, I think it is a bad wheel bearing. However, it could also be a u-joint in there somewhere. I scheduled an appointment at my dealership for Monday morning.

Does using your brakes affect your squeak at all, or is there no effect like mine?

If it's consistent and you're able to duplicate the noise, I'd recommend scheduling a diagnosis with your local certified dealership. DM me if you need assistance. Thanks - Kevin T, Social Connect Team

I will throw this out there as I had a similar issue with my then new Jeep Wrangler of having a squeak from what I thought was coming from under the floorboard during a sharp right turn. After much trial and tribulation, I found out it was the passenger seat track that mounts to the floor was installed slightly off on the 4 corner mount bolts. When making the sharp right turn, the body and floorboard flexed enough to cause the seat mount and track to squeak. Fix was to loosen the seat track mount bolts, shack the seat track mount and let it settle, then retorque the seat track back down.
