Running board?

Hey folks I just bought a set of used stock running boards for my 17 crew cab and I'm not entirely clear on which side is which. Here is a pic from the passenger side. Are the ones on top of the pic correct for the passenger side or is the bottom pic. One end is slightly angled on each but either way the bolt holes line up.

The step pads usually are the indicator on where they should be placed.

If I recall correctly the angled end was forward on my ‘19.

The angle end goes towards the front, like the the lower one in your picture. I know this is a two door, but will be the same on yours.
