Been noticing at times, when I accelerate there is some slight movement. Don't notice it all the time though either, and haven't moved the seat either. Electric, cloth buckets for the front. The movement reminds be like when you adjusted a manual slider and it didn't quite click all way in. Only happens on acceleration, haven't noticed at all braking.

Update for any that are curious....

FInally started playing around with seat, tried moving the back to different positions, but still had play (could take your hand and wiggle seat back, back-n-forth). A little play in passenger, but not the 1" of play in the driver that I was experiencing. Sooo off to the dealer I finally went.

First service manager, when scheduling an appointment agreed it was excessive play, but then stated it was considered trim, and may not be warrantied (truck is not even a year old with 8500 miles on it). That they would have to disassemble seat, take pics, and let Ram decide if they would allow the fix or not.

Drop it off a few days later, different service manager and he looks at em for a bit, and kept saying he thought it was acceptable play in the driver, though did note it moved more than passenger. The further upright seat back went, the more play it had, over an inch movement back n forth. Told him no, since the appointment is made, I want them to take apart and inspect.

Three hours later they call, and say yep tech had seat apart and the pivot area has excessive play. Part not in stock so will have to wait for it to arrive, and make new appointment to get replaced. Asked him if it was warrantied, and he said there was no doubt about that - is a warranty item.

lol - my loaner car was a Dodge Dar :puke:, but the gas mileage was nice for the short trip back home (35mpg vs 10mpg on the 6.4).

Had the passenger seat on my '10 1500 replaced for the same reason..mine actually rattled over bumps. Looks like the new trucks aren't any better.

Been quiet for over a year after replacement though, hope the same for you!

New part in and replaced, much better.
Though the Service Manager even said it's the exact same part so he isn't sure it will stay fixed. Guess we will see in time, good thing I got the extended warranty.
