I put in a back up camera. It's working fine but I'm getting a service shifter error code now, and alfaobd gives me code U1467 "manufacturer defined" . I unhooked the shifter when I took off the bezel doing the back of the stereo wiring and started the truck with it still off to check the camera functionality. That's when the code came on. I shut of the truck hooked it up properly restarted it with same issues. Used alfaobd to clear codes but it wont clear. Help!!!

I would give it a little bit, may take several drive cycles to recognize all is ok. I was working on one of my other vehicles and with the battery still connected and testing relays i unhooked several things throttle body, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, etc. When i got it all back together there were codes galore. After clearing driving a while and clearing again. They finally left and havent returned. That or some say disconnect the battery tie the wires together for an hour or so and reconnect. (not telling you to do that but it has been suggested before for electrical gremlins.) Or one other, turn key on for 12 seconds turn off. Do this maybe a few times and see if it helps.

U1467 : Implausible Driver Shift Request Signal Received on CAN and D-PT CAN.
Basically a comm error between the shift knob and transmission on what gear it is in vs what the shift knob is selecting.

Hey bud, did you ever get this resolved? I am having the same problem after doing some work with my aftermarket head unit.

You don't clear permanent codes. Once the problem is fixed, they clear themselves after a predetermined number of drive cycles have occurred without the problem returning.

It took me driving around a few times to get the code out. Guess the vehicle just has to do its tests.
