Wondering if anyone who has received a 75th PW could take a ring off and show us a pic. I’m curious to know if it looks bad and is needed in the design of the tire, or if it looks finished like it’s not missing anything? Would really appreciate it.

Screenshot_20210108-183916.png it looks to me you can drive with the ring off..while you ..wrap the stock ring with blue tape...bed liner material...powder coat or paint... anything will look better then the silver ring..then I think a guy will have a nice wheel and keep his 75a proud...

You can....the ring is for cosmetic purposes. If you were to go full bead-lock, I presume MOPAR will be offering the kit with the proper ring and fasteners similar to what Ford Performance did for the Raptor bead lock capable wheels.

Yep. To mount tires, looks like ring has to come off...I'm just having dealer pull mine and keep them off...I would assume you have to powder coat, rather then paint? Plastic dip...lol..

They unmounted my factory tires with the ring on. Doesn't look like the wheel would really care, it's just a secondary lip to pull across.
When I changed tires on my Raptor, they left the ring on as well.

So when they say "beadlock capable" wheels, the ones that come on the truck cannot be used in the beadlock manner without buying different lock rings? I would like to see what the lock ring looks like on these. It's hard to tell for sure in the above picture but even if the lock ring was flat there is plenty of space with the milled lip on the wheel for a tire bead to sit. There are a lot of of off-road beadlocks out there that don't have any lip on the wheels or rings at all but rather just to flat plates that sandwich the bead. I have 3 different sets of beadlocks in garage now. One set both the wheel and ring are milled for the bead to sit in, one set only the wheel is milled (liked in the picture) and the ring is flat, and on one set the wheel is a flat surface and the ring has a milled slip for the bead.

Somewhere I thought I saw the part number to the ring...not sure if there are any photos of the headlock ring floating around...I guess for me I do some off roading but not that serious...

Had a local powder coating place look at my wheels today...place had great reviews and the dude seemed sharp..he was why did they choose that color....looks really out of place...anyway 40$ per ring...thought that was awesome...was expecting double that...going satin black and dropping off a week from tomorrow..should look good with the granite crystal! I'll post pics..looking forward to removing the 468 bolts...and still feel a lil nervous driving without them...taking your guys word for it...lol

The only concern that people have brought up is getting crud in the empty bolt holes. You could always just put the bolts back in to plug the holes.

Actually 40$ per ring sounds about right. Should look hella better! I'll either do the black like you or orange to match the truck. Post some pics once you get them back. Let us know how long it takes to remove the rings..
