Small rust spots

I have a small rust spot on the edge of my front fender. What is the most simple way to remove/fix it? I just don't want it to spread because the paint is chipped there. In my sig, you can almost see it. It's where the fender meets the bumper. Thank you.....

i have a pretty big dent that chipped down to the metal. before it started to rust, i just sanded, primed it, painted it, and a lot of clear coat on it. completely noticeable but it hasnt rusted. could probably do the same thing. just sand all the rust off. but im not body repair expert lol.

Only thing i know to do is sand it down to metal and paint it.

drop down the bumper so you can get to it good.

Wire wheel it, get all the loose stuff off.

Rust Converter / reformer. You have to be sure to get EVERYTHING. Otherwise you'll just seal rust under the new paint, bad juju.

Sealing Primer (meant for bare metal)

Top coat.

Unless you're going to blend the fender, it's not going to look perfect, but it should easily stop the rust.

right there is your best answer. other option if your worried about blending and its close enough it, do as above than slap some fender flares on.

They all got it right. I let mine go too long and my fender is now gone. No saving it. So Highly suggest soon to try and slow it down. You can never get rid of rust just slow it down or hide it.
