Hi all, I have always found my answers in past threads, Not this time, so I registered for the forum. I have a 2004 1500 with a 3.7. The fuel pump died and trying to start the engine I caused a lean backfire that destroyed the upper intake. I replaced the fuel pump and the upper intake. I decided this was a good opportunity to replace some older sensors. I replaced the MAP sensor, TPS sensor, and the camshaft position sensor. I started the engine and it ran smooth. I took it for a test drive and while accelerating it started hesitating. I turned around and when pulling into my driveway the check engine came on and started flashing. Checked for a code and got p0013, bank 1 exhaust camshaft OCV has an open or short circuit. Now, I know I don't understand. I do not believe my engine has oil control valves, so I have no idea how to trace a short between the computer and something that does not exist. Again, I know I don't understand. Can someone please explain where I look to find the short.

I find this site to be the most accurate when it comes to trouble codes

I don't know about your 2004 3.7L even having those functions or parts either

This is a short video, not sure it will help, you can decide

I found the problem. The explosion damaged the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. I pulled it out and saw it was cracked. replaced it with a new one and that took care of the problem.
