Bought it used so not sure when the last time they were changed. It’s a 2010 so I’m using NGK copper plugs. All of them looked pretty worn, but here are the front two from the passenger side. I’d say they were due.

I mean. for almost 100k they dont look bad.

my old 2012 ram 1500 never had its plugs changed. My dad bought the thing new, and i bought it from him at 100k miles when i crashed my motorcycle..

First thing i did was change the plugs. mine actually looked a bit better, but only because yours have rust on them.

truck should feel great once you get some fresh ones in though... (Providing you gap them correctly) :) hahah

The interval on those plugs is 30k miles, as you can see none of the tip is corroded, I've seen worse. Might put a bit of dielectric grease on the ceramic when putting on coil pack, have to be careful not put it where the tip meets the coil pack, which means you have to be careful when plugging on coil pack. Stop stray current from leaving the coil pack, as you can see you have that issue.

Put some Hi temp never seize on the threads, because of the aluminum heads.

Makes you wonder....

We all know the copper ones will last for 3 times the "recommended" interval, albeit perhaps not peak performance.

How long might the iridium ones actually last?

Iridium plugs need the hotter coil packs to get the most out of them. 2013 & up I believe.
Waste of money on a 2010. NGK "copper" plugs are now nickel and are correct for a 2010.
