So I just ordered the SRAM powered subwoofer kit and a set of 3.5 kicker dash speakers for my base audio 3.0 (6 speaker) crew cab ram. Just wondering if anyone has done something similar with their ram? The dash speakers are simple with the wiring kit Crutchfield supplied so that wont be a problem but its mainly the clamp on taps that the subwoofer uses for signal. Im not personally a fan of the clamp on "T" connections they supply. I know I can always cut and saulder and shrink wrap my connections but is it really needed?
