Has any one except me noticed the rear sliding window trim on the new 1500 are held together with two staples in each exterior corner?????
Looks like someone can along on the production line and banged in a few till the glue stick. I have a Longhorn, I also checked in at my dealer where there is a Laramie with the exact same thing, so it is ‘normal’ wish I had never noticed now. Really hacked off! $$$$$$ for a truck with Home Depot staples in the windows!
Check yours see if this is common, please. This is clearly from outside view

Yeah I was aware of the stuff there, cheap papery cloth etc but I have now owned three rams and the other gen 2 had sliding windows that they didn’t put visible fasteners in from the outside. I’ve had two people send me photos of their trucks both 20/21 and they also have them so it is ‘normal!’

oh well, little thing really.

Those are not staples to hold the trim on. :laughing1: They are molded into the plastic trim piece.

Must have an extra dose of Elmer's Glue in there then, LOL...
