stolen tail light

So about 3 weeks ago I come out to my vehicle and what do I see, yep you guessed it all three tail lights where gone!!! The ones they took were factory but I did the whole DIY tint so I had a lot of pride in those things, they didn’t look professional but I liked it and obviously they did too. Well after being pissed off and freaking out because I was about to go on vaca out of state, taking my truck and leaving in 3 days for 3 weeks I began my hunt for new tails. Finally after a few hours of searching and sending out some emails I found a pair on ebay (stock) and the guy would overnight them with a hefty price tag along with it $$$$$$$. At the same time Retro Shop (Jeremy) responded back and was doing his best to get all three lights out to me before I left but my deadline was in 3 days and him wanting to make sure they sent out a GREAT product couldn’t meet it. However He did push them out ASAP and I was able to get them on before I showed my baby off in a car show later that week. Needless to say I pushed up the sensitivity on my alarm and go my glock rdy to go. So to Jeremy of Retro Shop, Bro thank you so much for helping me out in my time of need and delivering a great product at a great price and pushing my lights out as fast as you did!!!! thanks again bro!

Sucks to hear! The more time goes on, the worse this crap is gonna get. Its a shame that good, hard working people, have to worry about having his/her lights stolen!!

Has anyone else bothered to put a hose clamp around the open-ended post you fit the tailgate onto so they can't just lift it off? I know its simple, but with all the electronics in the tailgate I don't want to replace it.

I keep my tailgate locked, mainly because I don't want it getting stolen, but I guess it keeps the taillights safer too.

I had people stealing gas out of my gas cans in my snowmobile shed behind the main garage, it was a bi fold door so they would always seem to shift the doors enough to get in, where I grew up I never had to worry about stealing stuff so after it happened twice, rather then put a better lock system in place i set the thieves up for failure , I went to Canadian tire and got a new shiny gas can , filled it 3/4 the way with gas the rest bleach, I waited until one day the can went empty when I checked it after breakfast, then I installed a new lock system incase of retaliation lol I bet the crooks snowmobile or truck ran great after that can of gas.
