Cost a hell of a lot less too... assuming the pins hold the torque on the bar. Just a thought though.

I thought about doing it that way but wanted something a little cleaner looking. If I couldn’t find what I wanted I was going to redneck it. Lol. Wouldn’t be the first time. Only concern with that way is noise. The vibrations and bouncing would create a lot of metal on metal sounds.Just cut the sway bar in half in the middle, put a steel tube over it, drill a hole on one of the halves through the steel tube and put your pin in the other hole. That makes it move freely.
Just something I would do as a redneck lol
How close is it to the hole in the lower control arm?Sway bar links came in. The bolt in the u bracket is a 1/2” so I think it’s to big. I emailed kryptonite seeing if they can offer a set for the ram possibly in an 8” for leveled trucks. I may go ahead and remove the bolt and tack weld in one that will fit our lower control arms for the time being.

Changed the lower bolt out to a 1/2”. Factory was 12mm and I could not find any 12mm at my local Home Depot or Lowe’s. My idea for using the bolt through the lower bushing as my disconnect went out the window. In order to spin the sway bar up and out of the way the end link hits the tie rod. However, the top bolt through the sway bar is super easy to get to and remove and will probably end up being what I remove to disconnect the sway bar. If for anything I have beefier end links. My stock ones are looking tired and abused. More or less i wouldn’t do it again like this. These trucks are a pain in the butt. I need to just buy a Jeep. Lol

100$ The links I bought were 90$ on amazon with free shipping. Then just the 1/2” grade 8 hardware from the local hardware store. That's a solid DIY!!
How much do you have invested in your setup?
Did you have any noises or clunks with that setup? I have suspensionmaxx links and I get clunks whether they are loose or as tight as I can crank then down ...100$ The links I bought were 90$ on amazon with free shipping. Then just the 1/2” grade 8 hardware from the local hardware store.
No noise but you’re better off with the suspension max. I need to extend these ones but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I need them about 3/4” longer than stock for my suspension setupDid you have any noises or clunks with that setup?
