Look out! Now there's Mobil 1 Hybrid -

btw, hybrids are the worst of both worlds - two propulsion systems mean the lowest reliability of any drivetrain architecture. Google it if you don't believe me, I've read about it in the past.

Yet people still flock to these expensive contraptions, then complain about all the problems they have. Either get an electric, or get a combustion! No GDI's either. At least without dual injection regime. I'm ok with gas turbos for the little w h i z boxes as they don't get stressed that hard - but not for trucks that tow!!

A couple of guys I know have hybrids. The hair dryer noise they make drives me crazy.

Some brands are worse than others but Toyota and Honda are loud.
I will admit that hearing a Tesla or any other EV going on full song does sound sort of neat IMO. That sound of the motor reminds of the old sci-fi action movies we used to watch about future like Demolition Man, Judge Dredd, Fifth Element, etc.
I'm not a hater of EVs, I'm just not convinced that its the future. Hybrids sound cool until that 4 banger starts and if the engine isn't tuned or maintained properly, then it sounds like a horrible diesel generator.
I'd rather listen to the sound of the Chrysler Turbine car.

A fellow Hemi owner told me that the requirement to use MS-6395 certified oils is no longer required. Is he off base on this? I'm trying to keep my lifetime warranty happy.

All electric vehicles are dangerous to pedestrians. They're too quiet.

At work they added beepers and flashing lights to the all-electric small forklifts. You couldn't hear them even with good hearing amid all the din and clatter in the shop. Same holds true to electrics in town.

I was used to hearing the big Clark propane engine forks puttering around. There's no mistaking that sound.

One of my top 5 entertainers, RIP Val Kilmer

A ton of range highlighted by his movie The Saint where he played a bunch of different characters. His role of doc holiday just ruined Denis Quaid as his and all others who came first portraying doc where not even on the same chart as val's work on tombstone. Good news when actors die, we get to see all their reruns. He probably has like 3 of my top 5 movies, Heat, Tombstone and Thunder heart.

Check out his very early movie Top Secret ,it's a spoof of war movies, but it demostrates the mans abilities,as he does all the singing in the movie, plus it's pretty damn funny on top of it all ;)

Ok. Typically I buy 5W-20 PP and sneak in 2 quarts of some slightly heavier Platinum.
The manual says that you are allowed to use 5W30, so for your own peace of mind, do use it and save your truck. Since it is in the manual, your warranty is safe. Your truck and your wallet will thank you. You don't have to use expensive oil. I currently use a cheap oil which is Havoline Pro DS 5w30 and it is MS-6395 spec and change it every 5000 kms. So far, no issues and it is working very well.

His folks owned the Kay L Bar Ranch here, and he was in town a lot. His mom lived here until she passed.
