Yeah I hear you, that would suck! The code for it is P1521 but looking that up seems to bring up a lot of discussion about bad oil pressure sender's that are showing 99psi.

[emoji848] humm, is that a way for the dealer to change a part and then blame it on you for running the wrong oil? Oil pressure sender don't cost squat, but add in an $80+ oil change and everything's right with the world.

The real news coming out of FCA is the newest lubrication is ****, because ***** (DEF) worked so good for the diesels smog they are gonna give it a go in the oil pan. No more climate change, just take your ****** out of filler up. I'm not sure what woman truck owners are gonna do, not my problem there. That is about as silly as their current oil specs.

DEF UREA and Water, or better knows as **** and water, but the blue dye really makes the def.

LOL we buy deionizedd water for our lasers all the time. Hay syn, ill make you some def and sell it to you at 50% off. You can get deionized water at your local “water store”

When I had my Dakota I had a front wheel bearing go out. Took it to the dealer for warranty repair and they did everything in the world to try to sell me a brake job with new rotors because mine were " pitted". I don't know what x-ray machine they were using to see the pitting but I couldn't see a damn thing. Finally had to get a little pissy and just tell them replace the damn bearing.

The pitting acts as milled in rotor cooling slots. And grabs the pad better increasing your stopping ability.

With not only considering hemi tick, but actual cam fails and internal problems we are seeing, I am glad I am with the stoutest thing I can find. Maybe it will or wont matter, but I feel like even if my cam fails I did all I could. Filters as well, what a find with those RP's. Maybe we should have gone even thicker, but I'm just not that bold.

On another forum, a 13 had a failed rocker wipe out a cam lobe. Didn't get an answer on what oil was used. Cyl 5 was the culprit.

Not rocker, the roller caused the issue.
