The American cars of that era seemed to be designed to rust out,I remember a lot of trips ferrying used 70 era cars from the Dallas area back to Wisconsin, because the salt or gravel roads had done most in
Many european cars to, you could almost hear the rust eating the steel away back then

If I resided up in the Rust Belt, for sure and certain during the winter season, I'd be "stove'd up" trying to keep the salt, etc. " "warsh'd out" from underneath my vehicles.

Most likely, I'd have to do what some folks had mentioned and have a winter time beater truck/car.

Where I reside, sometimes in the winter months, there is an miniscule amount of snow(usually rain mixed with sleet)on the roadways, but it'll quickly melt and freeze overnight turning into ice.

We have trucks that will put sand down on roads and sometimes salt, but these folks down here don't have the experience driving in these type of road conditions.

... so, yeh it would be best to stay put. It usually isn't more than a day until everything has melted an safe to get out.

I guess it was alright to smack the passenger side door on the parked car, lol.

I suppose now after the video more of these cars will be stollen!?
I don't know how many of these old cars they still have over there on the UK island, but here on the mane land the brand is Opel and I don't know the last time I saw one

Thank God for Woolwax/NHOU/Fluid Film...
and Krown. The stuff works. Once a year application. I never spray off the undercarriage as I don't want to wash off any of the layers of rust protection.

Our 2013 Jeep Wrangler is 11 years old now and has been driven daily every winter and still remains rust free.

Even the Krown dealer commented on how great it looks when I was in there for its yearly dousing at the end of August.

Moly too low for me, no evidence of tick-killer. If'n we're all tryna keep our trucks to the end, it's a non-starter for me, regardless of price.

We don't know if Boron makes up for Moly, nor if lack of ester base stock (in addition to ester for additive solubility) can kill tick.
