Can’t remove the cargo cam option from radio and I have a dealership visit soon!!!!!!

Did so many full reboots and key cycles and letting it sit overnight. I’ve tried unmarrying twice and even tried enabling and disabling the cargo cam option.

HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS!? They’ve been no help.

i don't know if the ram radio is like the 2018 charger radio, but on the charger you have to pull the fuse for the radio or it won't reboot. Maybe find what fuse is for the radio and pull it which will reboot it.

Was thinking about that. Will have to try later. Weird how it put it on there but can’t take it off. If I do recall I did have an issue getting it on from the start as well but can’t remember how I got it on there think it just appeared.. Thanks!

Also won’t need any theft code or radio vin? Assuming it’ll reset all settings.

when I pull the fuse on the charger it doesn't lose any memory settings and no code is needed

Thanks! Of course it wouldn’t be a labeled radio fuse....according to manual so far no luck. I’ll have to do some online snooping.

Stole this from another forum post but supposedly near the brake booster inline fuse (but I remember reading pulling that required dealer code on older gens....):

That's the one. You can also try holding down in the upper right hand corner of the screen for 30 seconds or so. That's how I force a reboot on my Challenger's 8.4 uConnect when it gets wonky and Carplay starts acting up. I occasionally have to pull it's radio fuse, damn uConnect, and it's never asked me for the pin. Usually does the generic blue Chrysler uConnect deal until I force the reset by holding down the corner or letting it sit for a while.

I tried the corner trick, doesn’t work on all vehicles. Every vehicle has a different way to force reboot, dealer menu, and engineering menu. Haven’t been able to figure it engineering and force reboot yet. Tried all the YouTube videos and can’t find on forum. Like how they switch it up to confuse us cuz they know we figured it out hah.

I’ll try pulling the fuse later. Really hoping that works.

What year is your Challenger? in 2018 the holding the upper right hand corner doesn't work anymore

It's a '17 with the in-between UAS from that doesn't get updates anymore. I was actually going to replace it with an '18 UAQ at one point until I saw all the issues guys were having with the firmware. Interesting they removed the force reboot in '18 since the damn things are buggy as hell based on what I've seen and 1st hand accounts from people I know lol.

I'm going to screw myself by saying this lol, but I haven't had a single issue with the radio in my 2018 charger

It seems to be almost a 50/50 mix of guys that either have tons of problems or 0 at all. I know quite a few hellcat owners kept losing performance pages and had other oddities with the '18 unless they finally released a firmware that squashed the bugs. Haven't been on the car forums in a long while so I stopped following it. My '17 will occasionally crash out the USB hub in the console and the only fix is to pull the fuse for the hub as well as the radio fuse. The last update it received back in mid '17 reduced it by a good margin, but it still occurs. If it is indeed all fixed up by now maybe I'll pick up an '18 UAQ for it later and might even do the hub as well.

Can confirm that pulling the fuse (with door open) then putting it back in and getting in and starting vehicle did reset only the radio theme not the settings I had set AND DID remove the cargo cam option!!! Thanks guys!!! Once again forums to the rescue!!!!!!

Yea the more recent builds of QNX based stuff are proving to be a bit buggy from all the Autos requiring forced reboots every now and again. Would explain why the next generation of uConnect is going to be Android Automotive based.
