Tazer RAM

I picked up a new Tazer RAM for my 2016 RAM 1500 Tradesman. I think I married it up to the truck ok. But in the instructions it says I should see a menu and sub menu but I’m not finding it on the dash cluster screen or my RA2 radio. Any suggestions? I’m trying to contact Z products but no reply.

Did you try the part in the instructions about having the EVIC showing the radio header and then holding the "back's button and tapping the "cancel" button?

Menu Navigation: For all functions involving the dash (EVIC) display, the EVIC screen first needs to be in a state where it’s showing the radio station name on the top line, or if the radio is off, a blank line on top. Use the “BACK”(left arrow) button and up/down arrows to set the EVIC display like this. One the display is in this state, press and hold the steering wheel “BACK” button, and tap the Cruise “CANCEL” button to enter the settings menu. Pressing BACK and CANCEL will advance through the menu items. To change/select a setting, press and hold BACK and tap the Cruise “ON/OFF” button. Advance through the menu slowly.

Well that is a lot of money just to have my mirror to auto retract. As well that link was for 19+ ram. Does the tazer work with Apple

That is the correct link for the 13-18 DS body Ram including the 19-21 Classic Ram all of which are the DS body, the Gen5 body is DT. That one is the Razer DT found here: https://www.zautomotive.com/product/tazer-dt/
You don't need a smart phone to use the Tazer, but I'm not sure if you can do software updates with iOS computer though.
