Man! That BLOWS! Nothing like waiting for a part to arrive only for it not to fit! I sent the guys at S&B an email yesterday asking if their CAI was compatible, got a reply that they haven't seen one yet so they couldn't be sure. Asked if I would shoot them a couple of pics and they would do some research.

Which direction was the throttle body intake pointing?

What is S&B. I don't see them in the vendor area.

Thanks for the update...all this bad luck we're having with air intakes, hopefully we can get something in there eventually!!

Will do brother. Is there a way you can modify the K&N to work? I've seen some stuff at Pep Boys that would probably allow you to connect from the throttle body to the CAI box, but probably wouldn't have sensor ports.

It has the port for one of the sensors and the vacume/breather tube. But there is the other sensor that's plugged in t on the top of the stock airbox. The k&n has no port for it. I wonder how much it would effect it if I didn't hook it up. It looks like some sort of directional airflow sensor.

I know which one your talking about. Probably throw a code if it's not in the game, I was a little worried messing with the exhaust might but so far so good. Shouldn't have a problem since the work is all cat back, breathing better should help not hurt.

What's up guys, I'm new to the ram family... Just picked up a '14 2500 6.4 2weeks ago.
Gotta say I love the new suspension and engine definitely sold me. Very interested to hear what it sounds like with a cold air intake and upgraded exhaust system.

How does it sound and which muffler did you go with. The 50 HD series or the quieter one.

Nice!!!!!!!! im digging that blackedout package, I wanted one but couldn't find none close enough so got an slt

thanks man, i definitely lucked out… I seen the 1500 black outs but never knew the 2500 had the same option until i saw this one. Pain in the ass to keep clean

I went with the Series 50 HD, which was the more aggressive/loud one. Not sure what it will sound like, and I am keeping the option open to reattach the stock resonator if it's just too much. Should be on by Wed next week, I'll definitely post a clip.

Nice Johnny, I really dig the all blacked out. Looked at one last week on the lot, very cool! Lots of good info in this forum, welcome to the group!
