Forgot what speed it ends but I'm referring to the drive line shaking that starts a little over 50mph and ends somewhere towards the end of 60mph.

Now, I've replaced all my rims and tires and issue is still present (wasn't surprised) eventually when I take it to dealers am I better off putting the original 20 chrome clads back on ? I'm thinking they might use the sport rims that didn't come with the truck as excuse to not warrant the work. So in essence I need to keep the original chrome clads to be put on before taking it in for this issue. Load of ******** if you ask me since I've ready eliminated the wheels and tires being the cause.

I think some guys have fixed this in the steering box. Research it.

They have a fix for everything except our gen 1500. I think this horrible cross member we have up front is why. No adjustibilty or correctibilty. Maybe take it apart from the steering nuckle and put it all back together, see if there is any play.

I hate our frond ends, if I knew how bad they were I would have probably opted for a 2500. My bad for not looking and really thinking about it. There is a shop here that will swap out this garbage for a Solid 44 for 3 g's. Worth it if you are driving the truck for another decade I think.

I bet running bils will take some of the play out. But, the dealer should be fixing this! Did you keep your old rims and tires? Dealer might blame the new tires.

I have been chasing the same thing, replaced my front calipers and rotors due to other issues and the shake when away at all speeds. came back when I had a issue with one of the new calipers, we will see if it goes back away and becomes smooth again next week when I get the new one on.

Only other thing I could think to look at other than the steering as mentioned is drive shaft balance. I forgot to look what truck you have but is your driveshaft a single piece or 2 piece? if 2 piece the carrier bearing may be bad, if single a balance weight may have come off causing it to vibrate...

This aint it fella, Im refering to the shake that is similar to unbalanced roads wheels. Its occurs on or off at those mentioned speeds, others seem to also be effected and some from new like myself. I noticed it from new, thought it was perhaps the road I was driving on, then again the it could be who knows.. But some days its worse than others. Heres another thread about it..

So my question remains, am I better off putting original wheels back on when I finally go there to get it fixed or not? Like I said , ive already eliminated the wheels tires being issue. Last poster there had it from new also, his was the carrier bearing.
