[MADDOG]

In March of 2017 my beautiful black Big Horn CC 2500 was totaled by an inattentive driver. I had owned it just 2 weeks shy of 2 years. It had a few mods.





While ^^^ that ^^^ sucked it gave me the opportunity to purchase a new truck.

One year ago today I purchased a 2017 Ram Laramie 2500 CTD in Delmonico Red.





Over the past year I've modded this one a bit.

• 13 – 17 EFI Live Dodge CSP4 tune package by PPEI / Kory Willis
• 13 – 17 EFI Live Dodge transmission tuning
• Cummins CSP4 tune selection switch
• EGR valve and cooler delete with block off plate
• Throttle valve delete
• FloPro catalytic converter, 4” DPF delete pipe & Corsa dB series muffler
• 4” – 6” black exhaust tip with rolled edge
• Edge expandable EGT probe kit
• Pillar pod mount for Edge CTS2
• BD Diesel 68RFE valve body plate kit
• Mag Hytec deep transmission pan
• ATS 68RFE transmission case support brace

I'm sure there will be a few more things added during this second year of ownership.

I am really surprised you when back to those KO2s. Especially on a CTD.

I love both rigs but something about that red really stands out. There's a few guys that work near me downtown and they are in the build process. I see something new every few weeks and love the color.

Beautiful truck, I bet it was at least a little bit fun to start with a fresh canvas all over again. [emoji482]

I am really surprised you when back to those KO2s. Especially on a CTD.

The wheels and tires were less than a year old. I had them on the 2014 and just transferred the over. They are load rated E so will be more than sufficient for my needs.

You need the load range just due to the weight on that front end with the CTD. The BFGs are pretty soft tire. I never could never get any of my friends truck to ride right with those. You don't want any wobble. But the 14 and up trucks with the radius arms have helped keep the wobble away.

I don't think I personally know anyone that has got more then 30K out of them.

Delmonico Red is the best color, great looking truck.

I have just a bit over 28K on this set between the two trucks and I just checked the tread depth.

I'm at 8/32" tread depth now and new they were spec'd out at 15/32" so I've got a few miles left on 'em.

That body color and black grill and emblem looks great! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Delmonico Red is an amazing color in these trucks.

Dirt does add character though! Nice trucks for sure. I wouldn't want to see what the other vehicle in that crash looked like.
I know some don't like them but I love the way the sidewall looks on the KO2's. I have been very happy with mine so far.
