Thinking about selling

Thinking about getting rid of my truck. Don't know whether to take all the goodies off or try to sell with them on.

You won't get much more for the truck with the goodies on it but pulling off and trying to sell them might be more trouble than it's worth.

I pulled a few things off my MegaCab at the end of March and they are still languishing in my garage. And it's almost new stuff in excellent condition, too.

FWIW, If I were to do this all over again, I'd only pull what would fit the next truck and leave all the rest.

What are you gonna drive? I feel like I am in one of the best vehicles around, can't imagine what I would trade it in on. I would die before I ever bought a car, it has been over 25 years or more since I bought a car.

It really depends on what you got. If you used accessories to turn your truck into a higher end trim package, sell it based on that. Example. Added accessories to turn express into a sport, sell as a sport lol. Realistically here are some thing I found do and do not add value.

Little to no added value:
Aftermarket Stereos and speakers I don't factor in, I just leave it in with the vehicle.
HID's
Led lighting
Accessory lighting
Floor mats
Bed liner
Paint/decals
Tint
Interior/exterior dress up
Wind/rain deflectors


Added value:
Subwoofers & amp I usually keep or I will sell it with vehicle if the buyer is interested.
Lift kits
Wheels/rims
Bed covers
OEM accessories
Step bars
Leather/power seats
Tuner

I usually shoot to get around 50% of what I payed for the valuable accessories.

Black headlights would look great and the set davidram has on his were 130. They would look great with the black and red you have going on

Bought some Morimoto Mh1 projectors and the harness and hids for it. Had some red led halos on them but one went bad. Took them apart to replace the halos and noticed the paint was blistering. Had them painted all black. Got all the stuff just don't think I want to go back with quads. But yes I agree the headlights need changed.

I stripped down my gmc when I traded it spent about 4 hours removed my edge Tuner pioneer touchscreen with nav tonneau cover bed mat white faced gauges k&n rubber floor mats and got $500 by the time I sold it and the truck went from being nice looking to ugly with an am/fm radio. I traded mine but if I was going to sell it outright there's no way I would have taken that stuff out as I basically ruined that truck by removing all the things that made it unique

Wish I could find some all black tyc projector headlights. Find a lot of black with the chrome shroud but not the black shroud.
