thinking about using nitrous

hi guys im new to this forum, i just wanted to know if anybody had tried nitrous on a stock 5.9l gas with basic bolt ons like CAI, Straight pipe with flomaster exhaust, Throttle body spacer. Also how much can this engine handle 50, 75, 100 shot of N2O.... any info is welcome thanks....

Welcome, not sure on the 5.9 but im assuming same rules as the 5.7s, colder plugs and pull timing for each 25hp worth of hit.

depends. Do you plan to have a nitrous retard box to pull timing? You will need colder plugs, and maybe bigger injectors depending on shot. Most can easily handle 100 shot even on hypereutectic pistons. But the problem is with a bottle, is the constant feed of filling it...that's a huge expense.

Cool what did you change out if anything? Also are you using a wet or dry shot?

Not sure what setting you'd need
We have a guy in a 5.9 Dak that runs brackets for us with nitrous.
Think he's run up to a 150 short but mostly runs 50-75 to stay in the ET class he runs.
An 8.28 1/8 and 13.00 1/4 cutoff for that class and he runs close to the fastest allowed before having to move up to the next ET range class.
