throttle body?

i have a 01 ram 1500 360 with a k&n intake and a straight pipe. would it be worth it to get a throttle body? does it enhance the performance much?

I few recently have put on the 50mm throttle body, and liked it. Eventually I will get one too But I am still doing research for engine stuff

It will help yes, but you will still be limited by the comp. I too have the K&N and will be doing the kegger fix and also moding the keg to take out center section and mill down runners a bit and have thought about the TB. But i am afraid I will run into same prob of not gettin as much out of it due to comp not allowing upgrades to work as well as they should.

Ditto, get a tuner first then the TB. Back when I bought my 99, my first mods were CAI and tuner. A tuner probably makes the biggest overall difference compared to other bolt on mods.

I installed a 50mm tb on my 99 5.2, and after puttin it on at first, i couldnt keep the truck at a steady speed. The throttle was very touchy and the throttle response had a very noticeable difference. I also have a CAI and a flowmaster exhaust too.
