It's operating exactly how it's supposed to.
It's called "fly by wire" and there are electronic throttle position programmers out there to fix this delay on the new trucks, instead of bashing something most already know about, maybe next time ask if there's a fix first before pis'n in your soup?
You're in luck, the older FBW can't be fixed with a programmer, count your blessings.
EDIT: didn't catch the "E" truck, so this might not work. Thought EV's were supposed to be instant torque? I was referring to trucks with real engines in them.
poor engineering, RAM division attempts to meet CAFE 2022 standards, hopefully 2025 Fixing the CAFE standard will remove light truck regs and allow 700HP hemi to rule again

im new to this forum. i have the same issue with my 2022 GT with the e torque. i also had a motor replaced at 29,000 miles due to a flaw in one of the cylinder walls. The lack of response in the throttle is ridiculous. It seems a shame that there is a need to buy an after market throttle responder.

Still under warranty? Problem start after the new motor? I'd check with the dealer before taking any actions. If you have Start/Stop, try disabling it (button on dash) and see if that helps.
